Wherein the tendency of a ruling elite to
tyrannize and self protect is (normal self-
protection of leaders notwithstanding)
ameliorated by a broader rather than
narrower democratic process (as
envisioned by the framers of the
constitution) and how this is perverted
when expert knowledge makes a defacto
unremovable ruling class that the
average citizen is not smart enough to
argue with or even to know when they
should be fired.
The attitude needs to be ”if you’re not
smart enough to ‘splain it to me (Lucy!)
then we’ll find somebody who is!”
