   Society, by believing in the possibility of
long term male/female bonding, promotes
the sublimation of the appetite for straight
sex into a force a couple can subscribe to
when there are other forces agitating for
them to split.  To spread it out to other
human association types is to vitiate it.
 Why is this more important than the
society institutionalizing the "recognition
of the validity of other lovingnesses?"  The
simple demographic ratios should be
enough: shitcanning straight marriage, if it
produces any damage at all, will far
outweigh any possible good realized from
SSM!
